How the pricing works
Two ways to be charged, and you are quoted both and pay the lower.
Per item. Every common item has a published flat rate. Add them up and that is your price.
By truck fraction. For rooms, garages, basements and whole-house jobs, you pay for the share of the truck you fill.
The minimum is $75 per visit. Everything includes carry-out from any floor, loading, the drive and disposal. There is no stair charge, no walk-up fee, no long-carry fee, no fuel surcharge, no same-day surcharge, no winter pricing and no separate dump fee.

Rough Minneapolis translation: a studio or a lightly loaded single-stall alley garage is a quarter to a half. A furnished one-bedroom or a packed single-stall garage is a half to three-quarters. A bungalow basement that has been accumulating since the eighties is three-quarters to a full load.

What is not on the list
Household hazardous waste does not go in the truck at any price. In Minneapolis that means the shelf in the basement and the corner of the alley garage: paint and stain (including the cans that froze and separated over the winter), solvents, thinner, old pesticides, pool chemicals, gasoline and two-stroke mix, propane cylinders, car batteries, motor oil and antifreeze. Those go to a Hennepin County household hazardous waste drop-off.
Tires are usually accepted at county drop-offs for a per-tire charge; check the current rate.

Is this the real price list?
Yes. These are published rates, quoted before anyone is dispatched. The number you are given is the number on the receipt.
What is the minimum charge?
$75 per visit. If your items add up to less than that you still pay $75, so it is worth adding the small things while the visit is happening.
Does the price change for a basement or a third-floor walk-up?
No. No stair charge, no walk-up fee, no per-floor fee. In this housing stock that is the single most relevant line on the page.
Is disposal included?
Yes, in every figure. There is no gate fee added afterward by weight, and no separate refrigerant or e-waste charge.
How do I know whether item or truck pricing is cheaper?
You are quoted both before booking and you pay the lower one. Under about five pieces, item pricing usually wins; whole rooms and garages usually price better by the truck.
